Hooch began in 1993 as a small menswear brand with its trademark style being in baggy knitwear, snowboard style gear and quilted retro jackets,
amongst the elite of the 'Madchester' era such as Liam Gallagher, Ian Brown, Fun Lovin Criminals and Robbie Williams.
In 1997, Hooch increased it's offering to include womenswear and became known for its colourful fabrics and fun designs.
As the brand continued its success in the market, the distribution expanded and the decision was taken in 2004 to concentrate purely on womenswear.
Over the last two years the brand has gradually changed direction to cater for the more fashion forward consumer but still keeping the essence of
Hooch style at the forefront of the design process.
Spring/Summer 08 sees Hooch with a new sign off, a new face and an eclectic and quirky collection, focusing on vintage inspired pieces with a feminine feel. The brand Hooch, having been an instrumental player in the birth of the 90’s streetwear boom, have injected a new cool into the market place with a new fresh identity and brand ambassador Daisy Lowe who fronts the Spring/Summer 08 Campaign.
The Hooch Philosophy:
Hooch provides a lifestyle to those who want to follow fashion but do so with their own unique attitude –
quirky effortless styling offering versatility for every aspect of life.
